Profs. Martin Karplus, Michael Levitt, and Arieh Warshel have been awarded the 2013 Nobel Prize in Chemistry.

Kudos to the NSF for standing up to Rep. Lamar Smith

Rep. Lamar Smith (R-TX) demanded that the NSF turn over peer reviews of funded proposals that he doesn’t like. The NSF told him, flatly, no. Right on.
